was 53 years old, and what a run it’s been since. She’s written
three bestsellers, including The Secret Life of
Bees and The Invention of Wings. Now she has
a new novel, The Book of
Longings, which
imagines what Jesus’s life would have been
like had he been married. Sue talks about:
